Anna Odell

"The Saratoga Harp Colony is an enriching and rewarding experience. No other harp camp can combine all the different elements of performance life the same way that Saratoga does. The Colony incorporates orchestral repertoire classes with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. This is truly a priceless experience that provides invaluable orchestral training. At the same time, the Colony incorporates many opportunities for solo performances, such as several recitals and numerous masterclasses. On top of all that, my personal favorite aspect of the SHC is the opportunity to perform in a harp ensemble. I can think of no other camp that offers a harp ensemble at such an advanced level. The Saratoga Harp Colony has offered me such a detailed and comprehensive preparation for the professional world, and I continue to be amazed by the experience."
